Why won't my turtle beach headset turn on?
When your Turtle Beach headset doesn't respond to anything and shows a red light, you need to do a 'hard reset'. Press and hold the 'Connect' and 'Mode' buttons for 20 seconds. That way, you'll restore the factory settings on the headset. This solves most problems.
Make Sure Headset Is Charged/Powered On, Updated
Then, make sure to hold the Power button to power the headset on. Once the headset is powered on, update the headset's firmware if you have not yet done so. Once the headset is fully charged/powered on, and the headset's firmware is up to date, test the headset again.
You may need to hard-reset your Stealth 700 Gen 2 PS headset as a part of the troubleshooting process. To do so, please do the following: Hold down the Bluetooth and Mode buttons for 20 seconds. These buttons are highlighted in the image below.

Yes! You can use the headset's USB charging cable to charge the headset while it is in use.

What does the red light mean on Turtle Beach headphones?

If you're only hearing sound from only one side of your XLa headset: First, double-check the connections between the Xbox AV cable and the headset's analog audio inputs (white and red RCA plugs). There should be no loose connections.

Test and Repair the Earphone Cable.
The first attempt you should make when your left earphone stops working is to test the cable. Your earphone's tiny cable can be tested by inserting the earphone plug into your smartphone and make several bends with your fingers to detect a possible point of a cable break.

While charging, the headset's LED will be Red if the headset is powered off and charging, or Amber if the headset is powered on and charging. When the headset is fully charged, the headset's LED will change to Green.
